Restaurants, grocery stores, medical facilities, animal hospitals, and shopping are just a few destinations right at your fingertips.  For example, the community of Waterford has a large commercial development right beyond its entrance. On a quick golf cart or bike ride, one could grab a quick bite to eat or a cup of joe, zip into a pharmacy, or grab some groceries. The neighborhood of Brunswick Forest also offers the community a village town center, the epitome of “convenience”. 

Kayaking or golfing your thing? No need to worry about traveling far to enjoy recreation activities either. Leland is home to both Cape Fear National and Magnolia Greens golf courses, as well as many launch sites for boating and fishing.

Ocean Isle Beach... a spectacular vacation destination.

Welcome to Ocean Isle Beach, NC! No crazy crowds or heavy traffic here! Ocean Isle Beach  (OIB)  is a coastal barrier island along the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coastline of Brunswick County, NC. It is conveniently nestled between the historic town of Wilmington, NC (25-35 minute drive) and the faster paced city of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (also a 25-35 minute drive). Visitors and residents alike enjoy 7 miles of pristine beach in a family friendly environment without the hustle and bustle of other popular east coast beach destinations. 

So what makes Ocean Isle so "spectacular"? Aside from the above mentioned feaures, OIB offers vacationers a full array of activities to enjoy. It doesn't end here, however, because who doesn't love some homemade ice cream after a fine lunch or dinner?! Another "must visit" is the Ocean Isle Beach Creamery. This quaint yellow building is visible as you cross over the bridge and onto the island. Over 24 flavors of homemade ice cream are made fresh daily... and boy are they yummy! The perfect way to wind down the day.

Offshore Fishing Out of Carolina Beach, NC

Wahoo!  Some of the best offshore fishing is found in southeastern North Carolina.  The gulf stream makes its way up the coastline from Florida, carring warm temperatures and creates a haven for big game fish. Check it out!
