Easter at Waterford of the Carolina's

Spring has sprung inside of Waterford of the Carolina's! One of the first signs of this (aside from the beautiful azalea's that are beginning to bloom) is the annual arrival and appearance of the Easter Bunny! Although the weather was less than desirable, dozens of Waterford residents (and their children/grandchildren!) came out Easter weekend to meet the Easter bunny and participate in an Easter egg hunt. A great time was had by all and the children went home with plenty of treat filled eggs and great memories. In addition to the yummy treats for the kids, there was also a bake sale for the adults to participate in. Easter treats galore!

Still going to the Beach in January????

Happy New Year! One thing that is great about living around Wilmington North Carolina
is the many different beach options we have and the fact that we can go all year round.  Don’t get me wrong.... we do pick and choose our days carefully in January and February!  You do not have to live right up on the beach either.  There are many great communities around Wilmington to choose from with close proximity to the beaches. I chose to capture the first sun rise of 2013 at  Wrightsville Beach this year.  There were a hand full of people out there that had the same idea and we all caught a dolphin show too.  What a way to meet the first day of 2013!  

I realize that a lot of folks do not have access to these beautiful views.  I have provided some links to different beach webcams in our area. It’s an awesome way to see what is going on at the beach in real time!  Many of the local surfers use them to check out the wave situation. Check it out and see for yourself.  It just might be a helpful tool in your search for coastal beach real estate in Southeastern North Carolina!
