The days are getting longer, the temperatures are warming up and signs of spring are beginning to pop all over town!

Springtime in the Wilmington area has always been a favorite for locals, and a big draw for visitors. The charm of the city comes to life, and there are many ways to experience it. One of the first indicators that spring is in the air? The blooming azaleas! With this comes the annual affair known as the North Carolina Azalea Festival. Ranked as a top 20 event by Southeast Tourism Society, it's a must do! This festival is a multiple day event, featuring music, pageantry and various events honoring the historic tradition of our coastal community. History comes to life and there are activities for the whole family to enjoy. We invite you to come and experience it for yourself.
