hey everybody this is Brian Schrader with the coastline real estate team at Blue Coast down here in Southeastern North Carolina today's update as promised as a of a new neighborhood a lot of people don't know about called The Home Place uh of Southport it's just outside of beautiful Oak Island and downtown historic Southport on the Murray on the riverfront as you can see in the background this is Southport it's quaint it's got a little fishing pier it sits at the mouth of the uh Intracoastal Waterway and Cape Fear River um Southport has tons of different uh restaurants activities and coffee shops this community here sits about five minutes just outside of that so we're gonna dive into it and take a look at exactly where this new home Community is let me get my uh my marker here so that drone shot that you just saw was some of the beachfront of Oak Island the second was some of the downtown Southport Riverfront which is right in here and the home place of Southport sits right in this location it's a new neighborhood they just broke ground a couple months ago on their models so they should be coming up shortly but the neat thing about the Southport area is that it is on the riverfront there's a lot of restaurants you can you know you can drive to them you can actually pull up your boat and dock which makes it uh pretty unique you can sit there and stare over the Intracoastal Waterway you can see bald head off into the distance as well so the home place is Southport it's a neat Community uh all brick patio style single family homes and Townhomes so they are designing this community to where they are maintenance free to where you really don't have to worry about much on the exterior really kind of one level except for maybe a couple steps to a bonus room but they also include lawn care in this community as well here's a uh just an overview of the sites uh here's a few sales that have pre-sales that they've sold in there but again a lot of people don't know about this neat little niche Community really close to uh the Southport area but as you can see they're just gonna have a small collection of homes uh and Townhomes in this area as you can see homes here's a shot of one of their old models that they had in another neighborhood a well-appointed most of these features that you see here are going to be standard now this design here I think they've changed up the kitchen a little bit uh but pretty much what you see in these homes is what you're going to get the um here's the nice spacious uh master that they have here tray ceilings so you could see that these homes here they're great values for what they have to offer a lot of like areas like here the screen porches with the outdoor living areas and as you can see here you can get into this neighborhood in the 400s now I I probably will see I foresee that prices will probably be going up as they build out the models uh in this neighborhood so give us a shout if you're interested in this neighborhood or anything in in the southeast of North Carolina area hopefully this uh this short video has been beneficial um again a lot of people don't know about this neighborhood so it gives us a call shoot us a text or email us if you have questions and we will uh see you here on the next update take care now.
